In the course of their duty police have to be prepared for just about any eventuality, but few would have been prepared for a man with an anal vibrator inserted in his anus and seemingly wired up to explode while he was under arrest in a California Highway Patrol office.

The California Highway Patrol office in question was briefly evacuated when investigators became concerned that an arrested man may have been carrying a concealed explosive device. When officers collared Steven Ferrini on a drug charge, a search of the 60-year-old suspect turned up “a suspicious wire, with an on/off switch” in his pants pocket. Investigators say deputies originally planned to take Ferrini to Barton Memorial Hospital to have the device removed by medical professionals, but when they interviewed him, he made claims that he had knowledge of explosives and bomb-making.

“The wire was found to extend from the pant pocket to the subject’s anus,” Ferrini claimed that the wire was connected to an anal vibrator. Concerned that the anal vibrator might explode, they called in El Dorado County’s “explosive ordinance disposal” team and, at 5:45 AM, evacuated all unnecessary personnel from the CHP’s South Lake Tahoe office.

It took the bomb squad to rendered the anal vibrator safe, but it was later determined that the anal vibrator posed no threat. The report does not indicate why more than three hours passed before the anal vibrator was found not to be an explosive device.

One unfortunate officer had the unpleasant task of removing the vibrator from Ferrini’s anal cavity and it was subsequently removed and placed into property. The report does not state whether or not Ferrini’s anal vibrator will be returned to him when he is discharged.

About the author

Hi, I’m Joseph O’Connor. I am a twenty-six year old man from Texas, USA. I fell into writing about sex toys when I was looking for a way to both try new things and explore my body… Things progressed rapidly. It turns out there aren’t many (straight) men that can talk about sex the way I do without getting downright ridiculous. I’m always reading more/learning about the human body and sexual response and always looking for ways to improve my sex life (and that of those I come in contact with)
