Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to know how to have better sex? Sex, S-E-X. That’s right, I said it… and we’re gonna talk about it here.
Pure and unadulterated nakedness… Ok, you may think you’re a guru in bed (or maybe your honest enough with yourself and open to new things), either way, sex and intimacy are vital parts of any lasting relationship and, in my opinion, there is always room for improvement. From the way we practice our current skills in the bedroom to learning new ones, we can all use a few pointers on how to have better sex. Sexual exploration and experimentation… the bestest part of any relationship, to say the least. If we don’t keep it interesting and find new ways to please each other, our relationships grow stale and we become that bitter person at work who everyone complains “needs to get laid.” Eww…
Most people don’t like to talk about it. Granted it’s not your typical “dinner conversation” nor do many talk about their recent rendezvous with their friends; this is why I love the Internet. We can wander and search and find, share our experiences and learn from others. We can discuss things that people are too afraid to share in our “normal” everyday lives. Just so happens, having better sex is one of those topics we try to keep under wraps. Why all the secrecy?
I don’t care how experienced you are or how good your partner says you are; there is always something to be learned. So where do we start? The same place we start in any aspect of our relationship, honesty! First be honest with yourself and then your partner about what you want, what turns you on, what feels good and what doesn’t. Then figure out every way you can please each other so you both have better sex.
Try new things and be open to experiment. I mean we’re not talking about the dreaded science project from high school; we are talking about feeding our insatiable libidos!
I for one love… love… LOVE sex with my fiancé! I also love to find new ways, as well as listen to his suggestions, to make our sexual experiences mind blowing and strengthening our bond in the process.
It’s time to stop being so damn shy (or stop being such a prude), and start having fantastic sex! If the missionary position no longer makes a man stand at attention, or for any length of time, it’s time to change it up a bit before one of you goes AWAL…
